Yesterday while I was gone a box arrived with two of my much anticipated new fleeces. The California Red (left), which is washed and picked is here, and the Polypay named "Cassie" (below)which is dirty has arrived as well.
Perhaps I'll get a chance tomorrow to wash the Polypay and card some of the California Red. I did wash a small amount of the Polypay to make sure it was going to be white, and it looks beautiful. I can't wait to make up some sample skeins of both!

Looks like you'll be doing a little fleece shampooing soon :-)
I am interested in how the California Red turns out. Are there red fibers throughout? I have a sample Polypay skein...Nice and cushy.
